Dr. Anthony Hatcher, a representative of Immanuel, has served as a Director on the Alegent Health Board since 2006, most recently as Board Secretary/Treasurer (2009-present). In addition, he chairs the Alegent Health Planning Committee and is a member of the Board’s Executive Committee.
Dr. Hatcher has also served on the Immanuel Board of Directors since 2004, most recently as the Board's Secretary/Treasurer.
A board-certified family physician with the Alegent Health Family Care Clinic at Maple Hills in Omaha, Dr. Hatcher is the Medical Director of Development with the Alegent Health Clinic.
Dr. Hatcher is a member of Immanuel Medical Center's Medical Executive Committee, Immanuel’s Board of Directors, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a member of the Alegent Health Clinic Compensation and Governance Board Committees. Previously, he served as chair of the Alegent Health Clinic Board of Directors and chair of the Family Practice Department at Immanuel Medical Center, and is a past member of the Alegent Health Clinic Finance Board Committee.
Dr. Hatcher received his Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. He completed his residency at Ehrling Bergquist Hospital/Creighton University Family Practice in Omaha.
Dr. Hatcher's vast experience spans from his current position at Alegent Health to his role as Chief of the Family Practice Clinic at the Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan, to serving as both the Associate Professor and Assistant Program Director for the Ehrling Bergquist Hospital/Creighton University Family Practice Residency Program.
