Alegent Health Hospice provides end-of-life care for patients across the lifespan, from infant to older adult.
We recognize there are special circumstances involved in the care of children and their families when facing life-threatening illness. As the preferred provider of pediatric hospice care in the area, we embrace all aspects of hospice care, including counseling from the time of diagnosis with hope for cure – through bereavement of family members if cure is not attained.
Informational Visits
Alegent Health offers complimentary informational visits to help patients and families learn more about the hospice program at anytime. During informational visits a hospice team member will meet with patients and families to listen to their concerns and offer information and assistance.
You do not need to choose hospice care to take advantage of this consultation service. Requests for information can come from doctors, patients, family, friends, health care professionals, clergy and other members of the community. You do not need a doctor's referral for hospice.
