Security and tranquility
Our community consists of four long term care neighborhoods serving 140 residents. One neighborhood is a secured, memory-support community focused on helping residents with dementia-related disorders maintain dignity and experience a maximum enjoyment in everyday life activities. Each neighborhood maintains consistent, dedicated staff to encourage positive relationships. The companionship and meaningful care provided supports the continued life journeys of our residents.
Admissions
We welcome inquiries into the services and bed availability at Immanuel Fontenelle. All referrals and inquiries are considered based upon appropriate bed availability and the care needs of the person. The experienced nurses in the Admission office understand that the need for placement can cause much confusion and concern and are prepared to offer support and education into the process.
Upon receiving a request for admission, the admission nurses review all available information related to the patient. The complexity of the patient’s needs and the availability of space in the appropriate area determine if an admission is possible. We work with the local hospitals to establish when a bed will be available and we can accept a patient.
Immanuel Fontenelle is a Medicare/Medicaid facility and has contracts with many different insurance companies. As part of the Alegent Health System, we do not take part in services provided through the Medicare private fee for service or managed Medicare products.
