Joan Neuhaus has been senior vice president & chief operations officer since January, 2009. Ms. Neuhaus is responsible for operations within all Alegent Creighton Health hospitals and facilities, including five metropolitan acute care hospitals, four regional hospitals, two long-term care facilities and one freestanding psychiatric facility. Ms. Neuhaus, who has been with Alegent Creighton Health since 1986, previously held positions including vice president of women’s & children’s services and vice president for strategic planning & marketing. Ms. Neuhaus obtained her master of business administration degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska.
Ms. Neuhaus has been heavily involved in the community, including the Board of Directors for March of Dimes, Catholic Charities and Marian High School, a member and chair of Nebraska Women’s Health Advisory Council, and as a member of the Jesuit Partnership Council, Leadership Omaha, and the Creighton University College of Business Administration Advisory Council.
