The Alegent Health Back and Spine Institute is a member of the Nebraska Foundation for Spinal Research, Centers of Excellence for Spine Care. Alegent Health also participates with the Foundation for Spine Reserach. Both the National Spine Network and the Nebraska Foundation for Spinal Research are dedicated to excellence in spine care and to the belief that medical research of spinal diseases and disorders is a primary component of overall patient service. Both organizations are dedicated to and actively involved in medical research relating to the causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and/or control of spinal diseases or disorders.
