Skilled Home Care services are provided to the insured and uninsured alike. As an approved provider for most insurance companies in Nebraska and Iowa, we work with patients and their families to explain benefits and verify coverage before service begin – billing your insurance company directly to simplify the process and reduce your paperwork.

Telehealth Monitoring
Telehealth monitoring is the use of communication technology to deliver medical information through a standard telephone line. This allows the patient’s current health status, symptoms and activities to be monitored on a daily basis by a Registered Nurse.
The advantages of telehealth monitoring includes improved clinical outcomes, improved utilization rates, improved patient safety and a reduction in rehospitalization rates. In fact, Alegent Health at Home has one of the lowest patient re hospitalization rates in the nation (click here to view our current quality scores).
Patients who benefit most from telehealth monitoring include patients with chronic health conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or congestive heart failure (CHF).
A premature infant is a baby born before the completion of 37 weeks gestation. A premature infant has organs that are not fully developed. The infant needs special care in an intensive care nursery until the organ systems have developed enough to live without medical support.
