The Alegent Creighton Health Administrative Fellowship is a one year experience that fosters executive training in an integrated health system environment for exceptional individuals committed to serving in health care administration. The Fellowship is established to train and educate post-graduate students with a complete perspective of both an integrated healthcare system and the healthcare arena in which it operates.
At Alegent Creighton Health, the Fellow is exposed to a wide-array of healthcare services and initiatives not from a distance, but with extensive hands on opportunities in every facet of healthcare. The Fellow experiences healthcare decision making from the system level as well as experiential opportunities to participate on each of the hospital campuses. Furthermore, the Fellow works beside and reports directly to the CEO and President of Alegent Creighton Health. She or he attends Board and senior level meetings, thus ensuring personal leadership and professional growth. Throughout the 12 month Fellowship, the Fellow and CEO will work together to craft an experience that matches the Fellow’s interests as well as the needs of the organization.
Application Requirements
Requirements for this position include an MHA, MBA, or equivalent degree from a strong masters-level accredited program. Candidates must demonstrate prior internship, externship, fellowship or applicable employment experience and exhibit a commitment to pursuing a management career in healthcare with a strong interest in management opportunities within an integrated healthcare delivery system.
