Melissa Godfrey has a master's degree in agency counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has been a practicing mental health therapist since 1996, working with children, adolescents and their families. Previously she was an art teacher and children's religious educator. She is currently president of the Nebraska Association for Play Therapy and is completing the requirements to become a registered play therapist.
