Lyndsey Netz was born and raised in South Florida. She attended Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004. That same year she entered the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master of Medical Science in 2006. She then relocated to Nebraska accepting a position with Nebraska Heart Institute in Omaha. In March of 2008, Lyndsey left Nebraska Heart Institute to accept a position with Alegent Heart and Vascular Specialists, the first and only cardiology/cardiothoracic surgery group employed exclusively by Alegent. Lyndsey is currently responsible for inpatient care at Midlands Community Hospital, Bergan Mercy Hospital, and Lakeside Hospital, as well as outpatient care at Midlands and Bergan Mercy.
Lyndsey is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), a member if the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the American College of Cardiology. Lyndsey is actively involved in Alegent Health research trials. She is a sub-investigator in trials including TIMI 50, AIM HIGH, RELY and ASCEND HF. In her free time, she likes running, cycling, playing volleyball, traveling, and spending time with her husband. She also enjoys participating in the Annual Omaha Heart Walk sponsored by the American Heart Association.
