Rodney Black, LISW, MSW holds a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. Rod has extensive experience with inpatient, outpatient and community-based programs. He is a member of the Iowa National Guard, having recently from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Rod comes from a rural background and has worked in Missouri Valley for over 10 years. Working with a population ranging in age from early childhood to the elderly, he specializes in addressing issues including Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the recovery process, chronic mental illness, and gender and sexual orientation issues.
