Tara Sands, APRN, attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and graduated in May of 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in psychology. She then earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University's Accelerated Nursing Program in December of 2005. Tara then obtained a Master's of Science of Nursing from Creighton, and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2009. In 2011, Tara obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Creighton University. She most recently practiced at Alegent Creighton Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center in the Pre-Anesthesia Unit and at Alegent Creighton Health Quick Care.
