Dr. Sugimoto is the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Creighton University and the Medical Director of the Center for Blood Conservation. A graduate of the University of Chicago School of Medicine, Dr. Sugimoto completed his surgery residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and his thoracic and cardiovascular residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Sugimoto completed fellowships at the American Cancer Society and the Coller Society. Dr. Sugimoto is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.Chairman of Department of Surgery
