Pradeep Pallati, M.B.B.S., joined Alegent Creighton Clinic as a general surgeon in the Department of Surgery. He also serves as an instructor of surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine.His clinical interests include advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, robotics and bariatric surgery.
Dr. Pallati earned his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degree in 2001 at Osmania Medical College, NTR University of Health Sciences in Hyderabad, India. He completed surgery residencies at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India in 2005 and Creighton University Medical Center in 2011. He also completed a Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship at the Center for Advanced Surgical Techniques at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
He is a member of the American College of Surgeons; Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons; and American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is a reviewer of the international journals, Hernia and Surgery for Obesity and related diseases.
Dr. Pallati has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles on gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgical techniques. He also is actively involved in research projects related to laparoscopic hernia repair and bariatric surgery. His hobbies include photography, travel and spending time with his wife and two children.

A general surgeon is a specialist who is trained to diagnose, treat and manage patients with a broad spectrum of surgical conditions affecting almost any area of the body. The surgeon establishes the diagnosis and provides the preoperative, operative, and postoperative care to patients and is often responsible for the comprehensive management of the trauma victim and the critically ill patient. The general surgeon has the knowledge and technical skills to manage conditions that relate to the head and neck, breast, skin and soft tissues, abdomen, extremities, and the gastrointestinal, vascular, and endocrine systems.
Surgeons may further specialize in an additional Board certification from the American Board of Surgery.
