Families striving to eat better and exercise more have been getting reinforcement from the 5-4-3-2-1 Go! campaign launched by Live Well Omaha Kids.
And, indirectly, from Beth Llewellyn.
Llewellyn, 55, is vice president of Mission Integration at Alegent Health in Omaha. She's behind the scenes for the child health and obesity-prevention campaign and part of a larger effort to improve wellness in the Omaha area.
She joined Alegent in 2007. She previously created a community-based coalition to work on health care access, wellness and preventive care in Lexington, Ky.
