A large part of that can be attributed to over doing it when treating our children for illnesses like fevers. A concerned parent wants to help the child feel better but can make it worse, without the right knowledge.
Doctor Kirti Gupta, a Pediatrician with Alegent Health Clinic in Omaha, talks with a fellow doctor and mother, Kristi Newmyer a mother of twin boys, age 7. Doctor Gupta says, while it's important to pay attention to your child's well-being, not every instance of a fever can be a cause for concern.
