OMAHA, Neb. -- Walking alongside his lakefront property with his wife is something Ben Cacioppo does not take for granted.
Earlier this year, the 74-year-old started noticing a tightness in his chest.
"I'd walk half a block and I'd feel this tightness in my chest, and I'd have to stop and rest," he said.
It turns out a heart valve wasn't working, so doctors scheduled a surgery. But what makes Cacioppo's procedure different is that he had it at Bergan Hospital's hybrid operating room.
