The Leapfrog Group, a national organization dedicated to supporting informed health care decisions and promoting high-value health care, named Midlands Hospital among the institutions with the best Hospital Safety Scores nationwide.

The Alegent Health Systems hospital in Papillion was one of three hospitals in Nebraska to receive an A rating under the strict guidelines.

"We're just really honored," said Dr. Jeff Strohmyer, Midland’s chief quality officer.
