Facing $56 million in health care costs next year, the City of Omaha decides to take a step toward wellness.

Alegent Health Clinic is set to open a health clinic inside the city-county building downtown to serve employees there.

The plan is to reduce health insurance costs by encouraging employees to monitor their own health more closely and giving them faster access to care.
