Using a team approach based on communication, cooperation and interaction, the Alegent Creighton Health Immanuel Rehabilitation Center's brain injury program provides individualized treatment plans. As part of this process, the patient's loved ones are an integral part of the team. Our goal is to promote and encourage physical, emotional and spiritual recovery.
Program goals include:
Regain optimal physical, communication and functional abilities
Support and educate families while assisting them to adjust to their loved one's injury or trauma
Increase social interaction
Strengthen adaptive living skills
Increase awareness and acceptance of functional strengths and limitations
Promote return to community living
Provide information about community resources
