Alegent Creighton Health has carefully designed a family-centered education program to help make your pregnancy and childbirth a satisfying and joyous experience. We offer classes for early pregnancy through labor, delivery and postpartum. Classes are offered weeknights and weekends. By the time your baby is delivered, we hope you will feel comfortable with our staff and facilities, and are prepared for your parenthood experience. If you don't see a class listed that meets your needs, call and let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Classes are offered at the area Alegent Creighton Health facilities – Bergan Mercy, Creighton University Medical Center, Immanuel, Mercy, Midlands and Lakeside. If you have already chosen a facility for your delivery, you may want to attend classes at that facility. If you have not chosen a facility, or would like to attend a class that better fits your schedule, don't hesitate to register at any of our facilities.
Classes
To register for any class at any campus, simply click below or call 1-402-398-6550. Experienced registration staff members will assist you to register and suggest other classes which you might find interesting.
Clothing
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes as most classes have activities on the floor. You may want to bring a pillow to sit on during classroom time.
Children
Children are not allowed to attend childbirth classes (with the exception of the Sibling Class) and childcare is not provided. Please make arrangements for your children.
