Welcome to Alegent Creighton Immanuel Medical Center. Our campus, located in North Omaha just off of I-680 on 72nd Street, offers a full-service hospital, Cancer Center, Rehabilitation Center, Specialty Spine Hospital and Hospitality House for out-of-town families. Our 125-year commitment to serve our community inspires our staff to provide the highest quality of care to all who we have the privilege to serve.
 Top 100 Hospital
Immanuel Medical Center was recently named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals® by Truven Health Analytics. It is the only hospital in Nebraska named to the list. The 100 Top Hospitals study evaluates performance in 10 areas including: adherence to clinical standards of care, mortality, medical complications, patient safety and readmissions. Visiting Hours
Immanuel Medical Center does not have restricted visiting hours. Periodically, visitation may be limited because of special circumstances that may arise. We also recognize the importance of our new mothers' needs and have a nap time every day from 2-4 p.m., however, moms do have the option of having visitors during this time. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you have any questions, please talk to a nurse or care provider.
Valet Parking
Free valet parking is available at the main entrance and Immanuel ONE Professional Center building just west of the main hospital. Please call 402-572-2222 for more information.
Gift and Flower Shop
Wishing Well Gift Shop at Immanuel Medical Center is pleased to offer you the opportunity to send a personalized gift to cheer or comfort a friend or loved one. We carry a variety of gifts, cards, fresh flowers, balloons, snacks, personal care items, reading material and much more! Once you’ve made your selection, which includes your personal message, we’ll verify that the recipient is still a patient in the hospital. Weight Management
Alegent Creighton Health Weight Management programs are medically monitored to ensure safe and effective weight loss. A multidisciplinary team addresses all aspects of weight loss: physicians, surgeons, nurses, dietitians, health educators, nurse navigators and fitness experts are all available to you.
Nebraska Spine Hospital
The Nebraska Spine Hospital is a partnership between Alegent Creighton Health and the Nebraska Spine Center. This unprecedented collaboration in the Omaha area provides you with nationally recognized spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and physical medicine physicians, as well as the full continuum of pre- and post-surgical care of Alegent Creighton Health.
Immanuel Rehabilitation Center
Alegent Creighton Health Immanuel Rehabilitation Center is Omaha's most comprehensive center for physical medicine and physical rehabilitation. We offer services to help patients reduce physical and cognitive limitations caused by conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma and strokes.
Cancer Center
Our highly skilled and compassionate cancer team provides the latest and most advanced diagnostic procedures and treatment options for all types of cancer in a healing, supportive environment. Each year, the Alegent Creighton Health Cancer Center treats more breast, colon and lung patients that anyone else in the region.
 Chest Pain Center
An accredited Chest Pain Center is located within the emergency department of Immanuel Medical Center. The accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers is awarded to hospitals demonstrating expertise and commitment to quality patient care and treatment of chest pain. This center serves as a triage point to quickly diagnose and treat chest pain, allowing patients to receive the level of care that is most appropriate for their condition.
 Primary Stroke Center
As a Certified Primary Stroke Center, Immanuel Medical Center follows nationally recognized standards and guidelines for stroke care, which can significantly improve patient outcomes and limit the long-term effects of the illness. Comprehensive stroke services include specialized emergency and inpatient care, physical rehabilitation and comprehensive outpatient therapy.
