Welcome to Lakeside Hospital, West Omaha's only full-service hospital. We believe that patient-focused care heals the body, mind and spirit of every person. Our campus, designed for patients, sets the tone for a comfortable, less stressful hospital stay. As one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the world, we provide a full range of services including: maternity, cancer and surgery care as well as diagnostics and emergency services.

Alegent Creighton Health Lakeside Hospital has achieved Magnet recognition for excellence in clinical services by the American Nurses Credential Center’s (ANCC) Magnet™ Recognition Program®.
Visiting Hours
Lakeside Hospital supports a family-centered care environment that encourages family and friends to visit patients. Because of this belief, we do not have restricted visiting hours. Periodically, visitation may be limited because of special circumstances that may arise. We also recognize the importance of our new mothers' needs and have a nap time every day from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., however, moms do have the option of having visitors during this time. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you have any questions, please talk to a nurse or care provider.
Valet Parking
To make access to our facilities easier and safer for our patients, Lakeside Hospital offers complimentary valet parking. This service is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. For weekend valet parking, please call 402.717.8000.
Gift and Flower Shop
Lakeside Hospital Gift Shop welcomes your order and guarantees quick delivery to your friend or loved one. Our inventory includes over 4,000 items – something for everyone in a wide array of prices and styles. Our experienced volunteers will walk you through the ordering process, enhancing your shopping experience and helping you select the right item at the right price!

Maternity Center
The Alegent Creighton Health Maternity Center at Lakeside Hospital offers expectant moms the most comfortable and comprehensive maternity services available with spacious, home-like settings and family-friendly guest sleeping accommodations. Most important, it's backed by the support of a full-service hospital.
Services Include:
3D Mammography
Located in the Diagnostic Center, Alegent Creighton Health is proud to be the first in Omaha to provide 3D mammography to our patients and community. While traditional mammography continues to be the gold standard for most patients, we now have yet another layer of diagnostic testing that has been proven to find cancers (specifically early stage cancers) at a higher rate. For patients who are considered high risk or have a family history of breast cancer, 3D mammography is the preferred method of imaging.
Chest Pain Center
 An accredited Chest Pain Center is located within the emergency department of Lakeside Hospital. The accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers is awarded to hospitals demonstrating expertise and commitment to quality patient care and treatment of chest pain.
This center serves as a triage point to quickly diagnose and treat chest pain, allowing patients to receive the level of care that is most appropriate for their condition.
Cancer Center
The Alegent Creighton Health Cancer Center provides a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating cancer. Our cancer treatment services include surgery, medical and radiation oncology, dedicated inpatient oncology units and a wide array of support services.
Primary Stroke Center
 As a Certified Primary Stroke Center, Lakeside Hospital follows nationally recognized standards and guidelines for stroke care, which can significantly improve patient outcomes and limit the long-term effects of the illness. Comprehensive stroke services include specialized emergency and inpatient care, physical rehabilitation and comprehensive outpatient therapy.
