Welcome to Alegent Creighton Health Midlands Hospital, where we proudly serve the Sarpy County and surrounding areas with patient-focused care. When designing our facility, we kept the patient viewpoint in mind, setting a tone for a more comfortable, less stressful hospital stay. We provide our patients with some of the highest quality scores in the country in heart & vascular, emergency, and surgical care. Also, we offer high quality care in diagnostics/radiology, maternity and women's care, home care, orthopedics, sleep and breathing disorders.
Visiting Hours
Midlands Hospital supports a family-centered care environment that encourages family and friends to visit patients. Because of this belief, we do not have restricted visiting hours. Periodically, visitation may be limited because of special circumstances that may arise. We also recognize the importance of our new mothers' needs and have a nap time every day from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., however, moms do have the option of having visitors during this time. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you have any questions, please talk to a nurse or care provider.
Valet Parking
To make access to our facilities easier and safer for our patients, Midlands Hospital offers complimentary valet parking. This service is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 402.593.3000 for more information.
Patient eGreeting
Patient eGreeting is a free service provided by volunteers and staff at Midlands Hospital. Simply complete the form, and we'll hand-deliver your message to the patient you care about. Please be aware that Alegent Creighton Health cannot ensure the confidentiality of this e-mail message. This e-mail may be viewed by staff and volunteers in the delivery process. Deliveries will be made on weekdays, during business hours.
Maternity Center
At the Midlands Hospital Maternity Center, we recognize your need for a safe, secure, and private birthing environment. While each room is equipped with state-of-the art equipment, and wireless internet access (Wi-fi), it's also warm and cozy to ensure you feel as comfortable as if you were home. To increase your comfort, your baby and labor can be monitored not only in your room, but also from sites throughout the hospital. Each maternity suite can accommodate labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. A soothing whirlpool tub is also available. Our experienced nurses understand that your baby's birth is one of the most significant moments of your life, and appreciate what a miracle your baby is. Cancer Center
Our highly skilled and compassionate cancer team provides the latest and most advanced diagnostic procedures and treatment options for all types of cancer in a healing, supportive environment. Each year, the Alegent Creighton Health Cancer Center treats more breast, colon and lung patients that anyone else in the region.
 Chest Pain Center
An accredited Chest Pain Center is located within the emergency department of Midlands Hospital. The accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers is awarded to hospitals demonstrating expertise and commitment to quality patient care and treatment of chest pain. This center serves as a triage point to quickly diagnose and treat chest pain, allowing patients to receive the level of care that is most appropriate for their condition.
 Primary Stroke Center
As a Certified Primary Stroke Center, Midlands Hospital follows nationally recognized standards and guidelines for stroke care, which can significantly improve patient outcomes and limit the long-term effects of the illness. Comprehensive stroke services include specialized emergency and inpatient care, physical rehabilitation and comprehensive outpatient therapy.
